Visitors often take photos against the backdrop of these beautiful trees.<\/p>\n<p>De Djawatan is dominated by approximately 805 *trembesi* trees (*Samanea saman*); these trees are between 100 and 150 years old\u2014spanning a century and a half\u2014and have been growing since the Dutch colonial era. Their branches are covered in moss, epiphytes, and various ferns.
