De Djawatan Forest & Baluran Trip

1 Adult

This tour offers an experience exploring two of East Java's most stunning natural destinations: De Djawatan Forest in Banyuwangi and Baluran National Park in Situbondo. Perfect for those seeking the serenity of a verdant forest and a wilderness adventure with exotic panoramas.

1. De Djawatan Forest

De Djawatan is a forest area owned by Perhutani, famous for its rows of giant, centuries-old rain trees. The atmosphere of this forest is very unique—shady, green, and magical, especially thanks to the moss-covered, overhanging tree trunks, reminiscent of a fantasy forest.

This destination is often dubbed the Indonesian version of "Fangorn Forest" from The Lord of the Rings due to its unique and natural beauty. It is perfect for activities such as photography, cinematic videos, picnics, or simply relaxing in the peaceful natural setting.

Main activities:

  • Exploring the rain forest
  • Photos and social media content
  • Picnic or relaxing break

2. Baluran National Park

Baluran National Park is known as "Little Africa van Java" because its landscape resembles the African savanna. It includes the Bekol Savanna, seasonal forests, mangrove forests, and the pristine Bama Beach.

Baluran is also home to a variety of wildlife, including banteng, deer, wild buffalo, peacocks, and long-tailed monkeys. Tourists can enjoy wildlife viewing in the open air, explore the savanna, and enjoy the beauty of the beach and mangrove forest all in one area.

Main Activities:

  • Wildlife Safari in the Bekol Savanna
  • Photographs with the savanna and mountains as a backdrop
  • Visit Bama Beach and the mangrove forest
  • Enjoy the sunset/sunrise outdoors
